The New Mental Discharge Has Arrived for Some Reason
We're back and better than never.

During the 2021 escapade of society throwing common sense and objective reasoning out the window, Mental Discharge attempted to platform inane opinions on the ridiculous state of the world, only to be immediately slapped in the face by Big Tech. As one of the largest proponents of censorship and propaganda, Google deemed our takes as "dangerous" and like the beauty aisle of a San Francisco Walgreens, search results for MD instantly disappeared.
Now, I won't argue political incorrectness and a habit of using the word retard is the best first impression of an advertiser looking to sell fake Bose earbuds or timeshares in Honduras. Nonetheless, there are mainstream media sites and entertainment blogs that literally promote racism, genocide, and outright lies about important real-world events with fully functional Google ads that are far more dangerous than making fun of fat chicks wearing masks.
Pull quotes are neat. This article doesn't actually have any, but they still look good.
After a couple of years being invisible to the entire planet, things started to change when Elon Musk bought Twitter. Despite its previous leadership pushing rampant disinformation campaigns and silencing voices, Twitter's evolution to X and the subsequent firing of its management eventually made things more accommodating. After some cringy shitposts, terrible memes, and riding follow trains without an ounce of dignity, we've managed to finally generate a little traffic to send here.
MD is back online after a slow and meticulous rebuild from scratch, utilizing the latest techniques of poor posture and caffeinated beverage consumption. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes of a burned down Wendy's, the site now breathes new life. A bevy of articles are currently in the works, baking in the oven in the hopes they look exactly as they're presented on their Hello Fresh cards.
Mental Discharge will always be a sandbox project and continue to push the envelope of being in the browser history of no more than four people for 24 hours. For now, this article will serve as a place for information and updates on the site as it grows again from a malnourished preemie to a neck-bearded Twitch streamer who pays rent to his mom.
If you were a member of MD as far back as 2010, your account is still here. Simply attempt to log in, fail to remember the password you had, reset said password, and hope you've still got access to the e-mail address you used back when Blockbuster still had stores open. You can always contact us if you need your e-mail address updated. Don't ask for your password, though, as they're all hashed with salt, vinegar, a touch of sage, and olive oil.
To further enrich your experience, you can join Mental Discharge's community and post comments, collect achievements, create a Moron Nation license, and more. It's the most fun you can have wasting your time browsing a site that currently has less relevance than a Don Lemon podcast, yet is literally older than the entire Internet as you know it today.
Over the next few months, MD will also simultaneously launch old content into a vault section accessible with an account. Along with stimulating the bowels of creativity to ensure new material makes its way to the proverbial colon, we'll also be uploading forgotten pieces going as far back as 2002. In the meantime, contact us if you've discovered a bug or you're interested in contributing content that would make a Reddit mod cry.
Welcome back to Mental Discharge. It's good to have you here.
